4Front Electrical is looking for qualified electricians to join our Christchurch team. 

Whether you've been on the tools for years, or you've recently qualified and are ready for your next step, we're interested in talking to good people.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, thinks for themselves, enjoys solving problems and wants to keep getting better at what they do.

If you're simply looking to turn up, do the same thing every day and head home, this probably isn't the role for you.

But if you give a toss about the quality of your work and want to be part of a team that does too, we should probably have a chat.

 

What you'll be doing.

There's plenty of variety.

From architectural homes and commercial installations through to maintenance, repairs and fault finding, we work across Canterbury delivering quality electrical solutions.

Your role will include:

• Carrying out a variety of electrical installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Completing jobs efficiently, safely and to an excellent standard in accordance with industry regulations.
• Problem-solving and taking ownership of the work you're responsible for.
• Communicating well with clients and the rest of the 4Front team.
• Working alongside other team members across a variety of electrical projects.
• Keeping accurate records of completed work and complying with health and safety requirements.
• Supporting and working alongside our apprentices and providing guidance where appropriate.

 

Who we're looking for.

You don't need to have been qualified for years to be a great fit at 4Front.

We're happy to hear from experienced electricians and strong newly qualified sparkies who have the right attitude and want to continue developing their skills.

 

You'll need:

• NZ Electrical Registration and a current practising licence.
• Practical experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work.
• A good understanding of electrical systems and regulations, along with a willingness to keep learning.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• The confidence to communicate professionally with clients and your workmates.
• A commitment to producing high-quality, safe work in a timely manner.
• A full, clean driver's licence and the ability to drive a manual vehicle.
• NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
• Experience with heat pumps and/or solar installations is an advantage, but it's not essential.
